We are devastated to announce the tragic loss of Cian Case, a courageous and brave young member of our rugby family, who sadly passed away on Monday 29th January 2018 aged 6 years old.
After being diagnosed with cancer two years ago, Cian has been a warrior in his fight against this cruel illness and truly lived life to the full with the support of his family and friends. He is and will always be a true inspiration to everyone here at Llanharan RFC and our deepest heartfelt condolences go to his dad, Richard, mother Lorraine and to his brother and sister, Dylan and Bethany.
We have been asked to announce that a funeral service will be held at 2.30pm, Monday 12th February 2018 at St Julius and Aarons Parish Church, Llanharan. This will be followed by a service at 3.45pm at Coychurch Crematorium, Bridgend.
Please ensure that anyone wishing to attend these services wear bright colours in memory of Cian, whose favourite colour was orange. Ribbons will be available on the day for a small charitable donation. Parking in the vicinity of the church will be very limited - guests are invited to park in the Club car park which is only a short, 5-minute walk away.
Upon conclusion of these services, Cian’s family ask that you join us in celebration of Cian back at our clubhouse.
