The Club is saddened to learn of the untimely death of Colin Pring, affectionately known to all as “Pancho”

Colin, aged 65 years, began his long association with the Club as a prop in the successful Youth team of 1969/70 and continued through into senior rugby, playing predominantly for the 2nds and, on occasion, proudly making the 1st team.

Following his playing days, Colin gave valuable service as a committee man and successfully fulfilled the challenging role of Social Secretary for numerous years.

His association with the Club continues through daughter Jemma, regularly pulling pints for our members and Colin’s presence enjoying a pint or two in the bar will be missed.

The committee, on behalf of all our members, wish to pay our condolences to Colin’s family at this sad time.
