Temporary Forwards Coach

Kip

Good news today Wales Deaf Coach Tyrone Hughes has agreed to help out Head Coach Kevin Jones until a forwards coach can be found. We have been without a forwards coach for some time, since Jeff Pick had to finish because of work commitments. Tyrone has had a wealth of experience both playing and coaching. He has played professional rugby in France, America and at home for Nottingham, Edinburgh and Maesteg. He also helped the Wales Deaf Team win the World Cup in New Zealand in 2002. Coaching wise Tyrone has been Head Coach to the Welsh Deaf team since 2005, during which they have beaten England on numerous occasions, as well as South Africa away. Their most recent achievement was winning the World Cup Deaf Sevens in Australia in 2017. We all welcome Tyrone to the club and thank him for helping us out during a difficult time for the club.
