Doug Hughes

Heol-y-Cyw RFC have announced the passing of ex prop Doug Hughes. Although Doug was a Heol-y-Cyw man, he spent the early seventies playing prop for Llanharan along with another Cyw man Gary Howe. Doug was a lovely man who had a habit of keeping his hat on when he changed, before or after a game. He was a regular at most Llanharan reunions until his latter years. Everyone at Llanharan RFC send our condolences to Doug's family and friends at this difficult time.
