Lynn Woolls

All at Llanharan RFC are saddened by the passing of our old "flag and bag" Lynn Woolls, after a battle with cancer. Anyone who played for Llanharan during our successful years will know that it was a team effort, not just on the field but off it as well and Lynn played a big part in it. He was always available if any player needed treatment and patched up many to get them back on the pitch. Back in the day he was also involved with a CB Radio Club which was held in the old clubhouse. In 2009 he became a Community First Responder based in Pontyclun and for the next 11 years he devoted himself to this cause. A glowing tribute is paid to him by the CFR Team on his passing. This is part of it " He was a committed CFR who devoted his time to respond for WAST in his community but also became involved with supporting the training team, when ever needed. H received many nominations for awards over the years and in March 2019, received a recognition from AACE for his outstanding contribution to volunteering in the Ambulance Service"

But above all else i think Lynn will be remembered as a "top bloke", who would do anything for anybody.

Our thoughts go out Lynn's family, friends and colleagues at this difficult time.
