Sue Morgan (Nee Thomas ) contacted me via Messenger about a photo she had found in her attic, while in the process of moving house. I have to admit my first thought was this is a bit before my time. Sue explained that her father was Lyn Thomas and that he had played hooker for Llanharan along with Plum Edwards and Sophie Green. ( older readers will remember these names ) The other man in the photo is Lyn Ponting, who was an avid Llanharan supporter and whom i had played cricket with for Llanharan. Sue explaned that her father had died from Covid during the pandemic and she was never able to give him a good send off. He was one of the people who bought Debentures when the new stand was built. Going even further back in time, her Grandfather was Bill "Carmarthen". It's always nice to remember old players who gave so much to the Club, so i hope Sue can look back at this memory with fondness as time moves on.
