Sad News

All at the club were saddened by news of the death of Val Jenkins. A long-time supporter of Llanharan RFC, Val was, of course, the wife of the late Dai, club stalwart and life member. A native of the village, Val has strong family connections with the club. Father Em Edmunds and wife Cath were the first to run our new clubhouse in the 1960s, and Dai and Val also actually ran it years later. Grandson Chris played many games for us and daughter Donna and husband Huw are prominent club supporters. Our sympathies go to the family

We are also sad to report illness to former centre Noel Jones, another regular supporter. Noel was taken ill on the golf course at the end of last week and is currently in Morriston Hospital. Our best wishes go to him.
