Llanharan v Maesteg Quins (2nds)

Both sides fielded full squads, Maesteg being strengthened owing to their 1sts being without a game.

Llanharan had most of the territory for most of the 1st 40 minutes. The home pack under Capt. Paul Williams again showed good technical ability and defensive skills. Ever alert Tom Harris put the home side ahead with a try after good line pressure and elegant line kicking from Lloyd Thomas. Half time Llan 5pts Maesteg 0.

Second half saw both sides refusing to give up their will to win with all round entertaining action with Quins attacking more only for Llan to cross again with a Tom Jenkins try converted by Lloyd Thomas. Late in the game Quins crossed for two tries, converting one earning a draw 12pts each, Any " men of the match award " should go to both squads for turning out in such bad conditions and giving a good display of efford and skill.
