Andy Waters

Had a request from the Dauncey family to say a few words about the elder statesman of the family. Andy is the grandfather of the Dauncey boys (he's the little guy in the middle) and at the age of 65 has decided to retire from his job as Caretaker in Dolau School. You can see where the boys get their size from, that's Andy getting ready to come on the field! Andy played on the wing for the club during the mid 70's through to the eighties during a very successful time for Llanharan RFC and had his fair share of first team games. He loves nothing better now than standing on the terraces watching his grandsons play for the club. All the best in retirement Andy and if you get bored there's plenty of help needed at the club.
