Billy Griffiths

Llanharan RFC are sad to hear the news of the passing of ex-Coach Billy Griffiths. Billy was the father of former popular Llanharan player Dai Griffiths. Billy was a very gifted outside half in the 50's and 60's and i can remember watching him play for a very successful Bridgend side in the mid 60's. After retiring from playing he then went on to have a successful coaching career, including spells at Pontypridd, Bridgend and of course Llanharan in the mid 90's. All at Llanharan RFC send our deepest condolences to Dai and his family at this difficult time.
