We are excited to announce that the Cian Case Memorial Game is to be held at Llanharan RFC on the afternoon of 17th July 2021. Due to restrictions, this year has been limited to a one-off game between Llanharan and Llantwit Fardre RFC (Under 10s) Usually there would be other activities, but again following advice, we cannot sanction anything else at this time.
Fortunately that date also coincides with other events taking place at the Rugby Club: • The official reopening of the clubhouse facilities post lockdown. It has taken longer because the club has undergone renovations in the lobby area with much improved toilet facilities (including disabled).
• The Wales v Argentina Rugby Game being shown live in the clubhouse • The Lions v Stormers Rugby Game being shown live in the clubhouse
The event will also be used to raise money for charity, namely Velindre Cancer Centre Fundraising and the participants medals have been sponsored by Davies and Jones Optometrists Talbot Green.
The weather is already looking positive for next weekend, so it will be fantastic to see lots of people supporting the teams and the amazing organisers who have put this together yet again in difficult circumstances.
