Dai '"Scrum" McCallum contuines as coach for a second year, so clearly a glutton for punishment. He has been a great asset to the youth in ensuring the set piece functions well and ensuring The Head Coach's blood pressure remains stable. He started his playing career with Llanharan through from the Juniors to Youth (where he was vice captain) through the under 21s where they won the u21 national cup and was part of the senior team that managed Division 2 promotion. He then joined local rivals Pontyclun, playing over 300 games for the first team during which time he was again vice captain and won promotion and a player of the year award. He also was fortunate to represent East Wales District. He has great knowledge and has successfully achieved his Level 2 coaching badges and also coaches the u15s at the club so a very busy man. Well done and good luck for another season.
