England Colts vs Wales Youth 1979

I saw this programme on FB and noticed that one of our old players was in the Welsh Team that day. Andy Witts was a very robust hooker, who went on to play for Pontypridd as well as Llanharan. He is sitting on the floor, far left in the picture. Also in the team was the infamous Pontypool scrum half David Bishop, as well as Malcolm Dacey and Gary Pearce, who both went on to play for Wales. Worth a mention in the England Team is back row forward Peter Winterbottom, who went on to captain his country on many occasions.
