Sad to report the death of Gary Samuel, well known in local rugby circles. Gary was at our club with Pentyrch last season He was a former teacher and was an outstanding rugby player for Cardiff and Ponty. He would surely have played for Wales were it not for a certain Gareth Edwards. Gary was also known as an excellent coach. Our sympathies go to his family.
