Heol-y-Cyw Youth 24 Llanharan Youth 19

After a poor start, shipping 12 points in the first 10 minutes, Llanharan Youth fought their way back in to the game. The half time score was 19-12 to the home side. Each side scored a try in the second half, with Llanharan converting their's. Final score 24-19 to the home side.

Try scorers for Llanharan were outside centre Morgan Stevens, on his debut and our winger, who got 2. Blindside flanker and Captain Morgan Howe added 2 conversions.

Player of the Match for Llanharan was scrum Half Dan Huckridge, who played well throughout the game.

Although not winning this match, the Youth have come on in leaps and bounds in recent weeks and now boast a squad of 23 players. Under the guidance of Head Coach Steve Roberts and Assistant Coaches Arwel Davies, Dai Scrum and Sam Garner, all held together by Team Manager Phil Hearne, they are improving with every game.
