Llanharan RFC 48 Pentyrch RFC 14

Llanharan continued their unbeaten run with a 48-13 win over a young Pentyrch Team who never gave up and managed 2 interception tries of their own.

Llanharan played up the slope in the first half and opened the scoring after a rolling maul allowed Jack Thomson to score and Scott Jones converted. Leon Burton scored the next try and this was followed by another try from a rolling maul, this time Jack Walker going over. Scott Jones converted the try. Pentyrch then got their first interception try, making the half time score 24-7.

Ryan Russell scored the first try of the second half for the home side, which was followed by a great break from Jack Brooks, who then put Lloyd Gregory in under the posts for Scott Jones to convert. Jack Brooks scored the next try after a set move near the Pentyrch posts, Scott Jones converted again. Pentyrch had their second interception try to make the score 43-14. The last try for Llanharan was an excellent chip and chase try by Mitch Jones.
