Mark Newbold

Everyone at Llaharan RFC are saddened to hear of the passing of Mark Newbold, father of our player Alex Newbold. Mark supported the Club and Alex and was a popular figure with in the Llanharan RFC community. On the Thursday before our Cup win, all the players gathered at the Angel in Maudlam for a meal before the big game and were well looked after by Mark and his staff. We offer our support and condolences to Alex and his family during this difficult time for them.

"Mark's funeral will be held at Margam Crematorium on Monday 4th December at 9:45am. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mark's life The wake will then be held at the Masonic Hall in Brackla. Family flowers only. Donations to Y Bwthyn and the CHILL - Cancer Help In Local Lives Group will be welcomed For those who are unable to attend, we are hoping to provide a live streaming link which can be accessed in the morning on the day. We would like to say as a family, thank you for your continued support, the kind words, the cards and the flowers that have been received. We are truly greatful
