Sad News of the passing of a GREAT Man, Rhys Taylor.

It was with great sadness that the club heard of the passing of Rhys Taylor. Rhys was an extremely popular member, befitting his genial and generous nature. A lifelong resident of Bryncae, or “PDs,” as he would have called it, he spent his working life as a skilled glazier and so often responded to the needs of the club and its members.

There could never have been a more devoted supporter of Llanharan rugby; he hardly ever missed a game. He also willingly gave his time and effort to the club in many ways, with his meticulous management of car parking at the Dairyfield on match days being just one example.

Tributes have been flowing in, a worthy acknowledgement of the affection and regard in which he was held. He will be greatly missed.
