Skittles Team in Historic Win

Llanharan RFC Skittles Team made history at Llanbradach Social Club on Friday night, when they beat TA Mugs in the final to record their first ever Cup win. Here's a report from Captain Chris Williams:

After a convincing win in the semi final we were in fine form for our first final ever. The game was close at the start with Llanharan being only 4 pins up after 2 rolls. The TA Mugs the circummed to the pressure and Llanharan were 8 pins in the lead going into the last roll. The result was then never in doubt. Llanharan winning by 264 to 250. I’ve got to mention Aaron Thomas with a top score of 32. Also must mention the members of the team Gino and Dennis who have been playing since 1964 and this is our first cup win. A great team performance. I’m proud to be their captain.
