SPANIELS Vs WAUNARLWYD Report & Photos

After an eventful trip down west involving low bridges, we eventually reached Waunarlwyd for a conference central fixture.

This was definitely a game of two halves with Llanharan going into a 7 -0 lead courtesy of a penalty try .

The pack were dominant up front and the Spaniels were playing some good rugby . The second try was scored by Hooker Ben Pierce after great work by the forwards.

HT 14-0 to the Spaniels.

Waunarlwyd started off the second half on fire and scored a fine try which was converted.

Evan Halse then kicked a long range penalty to make it 17-7 .

Waunarlwyd hit back with a converted try , quickly followed by a penalty to draw the game 17 a piece .

Great to see Ieuan Evs and winters back playing in a Spaniels shirt after injury.

Man of Match was The big moose Kelvin - smashing through the midfield with only one boot on 😂
