Llanharan well beaten by Aberdare

In a game that was vital to both sides chances of avoiding relegation, Aberdare ran out winners by 40 points to nil. Llanharan kicked off down the slope but against the wind. , however it was Aberdare who did most of the attacking. The Aberdare backs ran strongly and caused Llanharan problems. This resulted in 3 tries all of which were under the posts, making the conversions easy. A further unconverted try just before half time made the score 26-0 going in to the break. In the second half Llanharan attacked strongly but were dealt a blow when outside half and captain Scott Jones had to leave the field with a twisted ankle. Llanharan kept attacking Aberdare with the scrum doing particularly well. Against the run of play Aberdare scored 2 further tries, both of which were converted. Final score Aberdare 40 Llanharan 0 . Not a great day at the office for the boys but we have to regroup and keep fighting until the end for the cause.
