Llanharan 11 Llanishen 22

Llanharan worked hard but couldn't end their losing run. Kicking off down the slope, Llanharan took an early lead with a Lloyd Thomas penalty. Both sides exchanged penalties to take the score to 9-6 in favour of Llanishen. The next score went the home sides way, after a loose kick was fielded near the half way, Tom Harris put Stuart Griffiths away, who in turn gave the scoring pass to Gareth Jeffs near the posts. Unfortunately the conversion was missed. In the second half Llanharan started to struggle in the scrums and lineouts, giving Llanishen some easy penalties. Although they defended well, Llanharan couldn't stop Llanishen scoring the match winning try. It came after Lloyd Thomas was given a yellow card, Llanishen scoring a try near the posts to make the score 22-11 in their favour . For Llanharan Richard Lawrence was outstanding, frequently breaking through the Llanishen defence with a combination of power and speed.
