Llanharan U14's lost away yesterday to a very good Beddau side by 63-22. Llanharan were missing 6 of their players but still managed to put out a decent team, which bodes well for the future. In a game played with the right spirit it was Beddau's backs who made the difference. Once again passive scrums were the order of the day, which never helps Llanharan's cause, as their set piece is probably their strongest point. Try scorers for Llanharan were C. Coburn, D. Hearne, A. Ringer and B. Rowe with C. Ile kicking one conversion. The only sour note of the game was the cracked ribs suffered by full back Dan Woolridge in a freak accident at the end of the first half. The next game for the U14's will be home to Mumbles on May 5th.
