The month of July saw players (junior and senior), committee members, club members and their families take on a challenge. The challenge was to walk, ride, cycle or swim the Welsh coast as many times as possible.

We completed the Welsh coast 3.5 times (a total of 2,973 miles), with solid efforts from all taking part. Journey's included a tandem bike ride, many dog walks, swimming in Porthcawl, a shielded garden walk and a quick hike up Pen-y-fan.

Our younger members lead the way putting in big miles on family bike rides (sometimes before breakfast), and older members put in some impressive 60 mile bike rides!! Some members took to their bikes for the first time in years, while other hopped back on even after falling off mid bike ride.

We raised over £1000 for Llanharan Community Development Project (the Drop in). The money will go to support older members of our community, as the drop in will be delivering afternoon teas and activity packs as well as conducting surveys to find out what needs their are post COVID-19.

Thank you to everyone who took part and donated.
