Job Title: Physiotherapist / Sports Therapist�Location: LLANHARAN RFC�Commitment: Training sessions (TBC) and game days (SATURDAYS and possibly MID WEEK)

*Role Overview*

We are seeking friendly and motivated Physiotherapist or Sports Therapist (qualified, working towards or equivalent experience) to provide pitchside support for our rugby team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality injury management, strapping, and first aid, ensuring players receive the best care during both training and match situations.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide pitchside first aid and acute injury management during matches and training sessions.

* Assess, manage, and monitor injuries and return-to-play progression.

* Deliver pre-match strapping and treatment for injury prevention/ management.

* Maintain accurate records of player injuries, treatments, and rehabilitation.

* Liaise with coaches staff and medical team regarding players well-being.

Essential Requirements

* Degree in Physiotherapy or Sports Therapy (or equivalent experience).

* Valid Pitchside First Aid qualification (or equivalent, e.g., WRU, LUBAS MEDICAL)

* Strong knowledge of injury prevention, acute management, and rehabilitation.

Desirable Skills/Experience

* Experience working pitch-side or first aid for sports

* Strong communication skills to work effectively with coaching and support staff.

* Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a pitchside environment.

* Experience in strapping/taping

* Massage qualification (or equivalent experience)

* Organisation skills

* Able to work in a team environment
